News on Stoke Newington LEN

Over 80 residents joined us at Stoke Newington Town Hall on 30 January to discuss getting around in Stoke Newington and how it can be improved. After a presentation by the Head of Streetscene to introduce the proposed Low Emissions Neighbourhood, residents, business owners and local stakeholder groups sat together to discuss what they thought are important transport and public realm issues, and how the LEN16 project could help resolve these issues.

We’ll be reporting back on what people said at the workshop, as well as on the Commonplace website, over the next few months. The Commonplace will run until Sunday 1 March, so please make sure to leave your comments and complete the survey before then.
